And now I have headache as well. Well, my body is the one who tells me to stop. I will go outside now (to buy some things which I don't have in stock right now) and maybe some fresh air will help me to ease the pain.

I will do the same tomorrow. Get some fresh air on the market and at the same time get some food: fresh vegetables and good meat from the butcher. Probably have some fish at the fish stall on the market, fried mussels, fried squid rings, fried fish, salted herring or maybe even a sandwich with smoked eal (not all, just can't make a choice yet, although I might take some home as well). Today my son did the shopping for me.

I'm back and I think the headache is less strong now.

I forgot to mention that my mom got the cold, too. We hope we get well enough until Thursday when we meet us.

Hope you can still meet each other, and that the cold has gone for both of you. Nearly wanted to write "Give your mom my regards", but she doesn't know me and I don't know her. Still I wish her and you a fast recovery of the cold, and of course a happy time together.

I think that is one party I'll try to miss! You all take care of yourselves - you'll need energy to open all the presents - LOL! Seriously though - I hope you all get some rest and feel better.

A new tale is up and posted - this one about the Old American West:

I hope you take a quick read (and a quick read it is), and enjoy!

I hope you both feel better soon, and it doesn't spoil the holidays. Have a happy "everything" and get well soon.

The cold is still not gone but I feel less sick than before. I was very lucky that I could taste things again to the fullest. So I do need to cancel my plan to visit my mom in my hometown over Christmas (and after it). I will travel back on January 1, 2023. I take the notebook with me to be able to make regular backups of the forum's database and to take the screenshots for the third part of my Skyrim short story for example.

Good day, all! Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better, Selene! The best present for the holidays is always good health!

Same here, cold hasn't gone, but at least no more headaches or muscle pain. Throat is also feeling better. I have been to the market yesterday afternoon. A bit of fresh air did me good. Also went to the butcher, the greengrocer and the bakery. Far much better than the groceries from the supermarket.

On today's menu: chicory with ham and cheese (incl. Roquefort) from the oven.
