I returned the tablecloth and converted the money I got back into my all time favorite food. ... What? No, I don't eat :sn-47: :sn-44: each day. Yesterday, I had roasted duck and, the day before, kale with potatoes and Pinkel (as part of the Grünkohlessen; only the dish - my mom and I skipped the games and drinking part of the custom). My grandpa says if you eat Grünkohl on New Year's Day, you will have enough money the whole year.

I hope that will come true for you! My diner was fish tapas on New Year's Day, so probably not enough money the whole year. Let's see what happens. At least 10%+ state pension and near 13%+ personal pension. However, somewhere this year we get a new pension system, but I have no clue what that will mean for me personal. I still have to receive the details from my personal pension provider, but it's stil a debate in politics.

Grünkohlessen, the Dutch version ("Boerenkool" with "rookworst") is one of my favorites, but then the "rookworst" (smoked sausage) from the butcher, not the supermarket!!

@Steve:
I will (pretty soon) publish my recipe for hamburgers (my style!). Be warned and be amazed!

BTW: Tomorrow I will go through the complete LOD generation again. No time today, as it will take at least 3 hours on my rig, and I also have to take screenshots for a new guide, and of course make notes about differences between Wrye Bash and MO2 (Mephitic's guide).

Hamburger recipe continued ...

hamburger buns
Cheddar cheese (or another cheese of taste)

Slice the hamburger buns and grill top and bottom until crunchy. Let the bun halves cool down and turn around. Cover both halves with the cheese.

1 large shallot per 100 grams of minced beef
palm sugar
a little sea salt
extra virgine olive oil

Slice the shallots in the length into four or six (to preference). Bake in olive oil with a little sea salt. When glazed, cover with palm sugar and let it simmer gently.

Bake the hamburger(s) in butter with some olive oil to prevent the butter from burning. Grill the hamburger bun halves with the cheese.

I'm sorry, but I'm not the best recipe writer, and you will have to figure out timing yourself. Enjoy! More recipes? Just give a holler!

I'm sorry Steve, but I can't keep up with reading your stories. There's so much else to do. Couldn't you publish the stories a couple of days apart? Maybe a week or so?

LOL! They are a week apart already (well, the topics are). But don't worry if you can't keep up - they aren't going anywhere (and no quizzes, either! :sn-3: )

The Miscellaneous stories are quick reads and very short; the Etienne and Hador stories - well, they are considerably longer.
