Good day! So, I've started working on the long anticipated reset of my build. Began by checking in xEdit for any errors that the removal of a couple of mods may cause, and was happy to see that everything came up clean. Now, I have started planning the merges for the mods I will be adding in, already have a merge planned for an additional 84 mods approximately, and anticipate that there will be a second, smaller, merge of some a number of the remainders. As for the rest I am adding, they will be .esl (either they are already, or I will convert them). There will also be a few mods that I will be updating due to changes, additions, and enhancements that were added to them, as well. I anticipate that the whole process will take about a week to do - that's with merging, editing, and testing (though if I procrastinate, it may take a little longer - LOL!).

Once I've completed the reset, then it will be time to decide where I start. I am, currently, thinking of changing my usual Alternate Start location from Riften (which I have used for the last few playthroughs) to Solitude. That way, I can pick up Chaconne right away, and then work my way back to Whiterun to meet up with Jenassa and Sofia (with a stop at Divine Elegance along the way to get some decent attire, of course). Once I've done that, my playthrough will settle down into my usual pattern: Get Lakeview, build Heljarchen Farm (thus assuring a steady income), and then, with that out of the way, trigger the main quest, and clear Bleak Falls Barrow on the way back from Helgen. From there, visit Jarl Balgruuf and do Dragon Rising. Next, it will be a journey to Riften, then a trek up to Windhelm to acquire Hjerim, before returning to Whiterun once more, with a stop at High Hrothgar to see the Greybeards on the way back.

Looks good! Never considered using Skyrim Unbound for a change? One thing about the alternative starts I'm missing, is that with most TES games you start "imprisoned" by the Empire (Arena, Morrowind & Oblivion), released and send out on a mission, where in Battlespire & Daggerfall you were send on a mission by Emperor Uriel Septim VII without imprisonment. I would have liked an option where you are imprisoned in Castle Dour in Solitude, being released, and send on a mission (for the player to fill in). At least washing up ashore (Skyrim Unbound) comes close, as you can imagine being send to Skyrim by boat.

I have taken a small break form playing and modding Skyrim SE. Just playing The Talos Principle for now, until I have the courage to start solving CTD/LOD problems. Still have to follow up on one of Selene's tips. That will be the first to check. Next will be Mephitic's tips on the warnings and errors I ignored sofar (Deleted References, Overwritten Large References). After all these years with TES games there's still a lot to learn!

Seems to be pretty quiet around here! Reminds me somewhat of the movie Jezus Christ Superstar:

"What's the fuzz?" What's happening?"

I also noticed this. Maybe it's due to the fact I'm not as active as the months before where I did everything to keep the discussion going. But I had to restrain myself recently because my efforts exhausted me too much. I still have to find the right balance.
