Is this the fantasy version of Alita: Battle Angel? :D Sorry, I couldn't resist.

It's a great movie and I wanted to write that it's too bad that they didn't make a sequel. But now there's hope.
I have no idea why I wrote Battle Mage! I had written down the name of the movie (Alita: Battle Angel) and it was right in the front of my face. Battle probably reminded me of Skyrim's battlemage. :sn-19:

Yeah, maybe Shalidor's Legacy: The Yellow Books may be a good playthru for a battlemage! Haven't thought about that. Always playing and testing as my Nord warrior!

Yesterday, I played Two Worlds 2 most of the day. The game has the potential to become really addictive. I need to be careful.

Today, I haven't played yet. I spent the whole afternoon/early evening helping my mother with her internet which is unusable. All I can say is that the consumer advice center is involved and they advised her to contact her ISP regarding the malfunctioning. The contact form of the ISP requires a special password which she doesn't have. She doesn't want to call the hotline. So I suggested that she writes a letter to the ISP. She needs the internet for her online banking. She still has mobile internet on her phone. I explained to her how she can connect the notebook with the phone (mobile hotspot function) so she can use the phone's internet for the time being.

It's a pleasure when you want to wash yourself and you only get icecold water out of the water tap :sn-24:. Five other tenants have the same problem. The craftsman comes tomorrow between 10 am and 13 pm. I asked my boss if I can work from home on this day and he agreed. I have an electric kettle at least to bridge the time.

Good morning!
(It's probably the first time I say that here :D )

I have warm water in my flat again :sn-13:! One tiny part of the flow heater was faulty. If this happens, you can discard the whole device (no repair parts?). The electrician installed a new device and everything is working again. But it's still a conundrum why six tenants had the problem at the same time (this was my latest state of knowledge; other tenants could have reported their problem after I reported mine).

I know quite a few small apartment complexes that "include" hot water use a shared recirculation system so you don't need to wait minutes for the water to get hot. The 6 tenants were probably in a recirculation group.

Glad the water's hot again... Brrr.

I completed all my errands that are related to regulatory affairs within the given deadline. I wanted to lean back and celebrate this accomplishment. Then, I think you already know what did happen next, sigh, the neighbors again (loud TV this time). I went downstairs getting help from the concierge like yesterday but when the concierge was upstairs, he heard nothing - two times in a row. TV is tricky because there are passages which aren't loud (enough to be heard). And I think he was upstairs during the quieter passages. I don't want to be thought of as someone who made this up... I have better things to do :sn-5: (like watching YouTube videos :D)

This could probably be the case, too. I remember they built in a linkage with all kinds of tubes and a tank (like a second wall), which they covered with tiles, right behind the rather small flow heater and the toilet. It was part of the bathroom renovation in 2019 (all bathrooms of the building were renovated at that time).

Edit:

I just finished writing my forth article in this month on Selene's Shadow Realm. This is a new record! I usually write one every couple of months for some years, mostly when I started a new mod project or released a new mod. But now I want to talk about other topics, too. Today's article is about (mod/screenshot) endorsements and how I deal with them in the future.

Today was a mixed bag. I got enough sleep and arrived at my workplace on schedule (this is not always the case :sn-11:). Then I need to stop my work because of pain so I was at home more early than usual. I had a nice talk with my favorite concierge (at the moment there are three who have different shifts).

After that was my weekly supportive talk helping me to get life together. Although I'm one of the clients who have the least need of support, there are still a lot of ongoing problems (like sleep deprivation or difficulties with getting important things done on time). I slowly made progress regarding some of these problems recently. I need a lot of time to change my routines to the better. At the end of today's talk, the counselor suggested that I try a painkiller that is targeted at women. And I followed her advise and tried this painkiller. I have the impression that it does work better than Ibuprofen did.

I went to the supermarket late in the evening (I prefer this time because there a lot less people then). I got the spontaneous idea to cook a gratin. I don't remember the last time I did this. It will consist of potatoes, carrots, spring onions, baby spinach and turkey breast. The sauce will be made of sour cream and Gorgonzola (I haven't done this combination before; it's an experiment and I love experiments :sn-31:). I probably put everything together on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
