A - snip - ...went to a sushi restaurant (all you can eat). When I tell people that I love sushi they usually answer that they don't like it or don't want to try it - because they believe sushi is just rice with raw fish. There are a lot of variants: veggie (e.g. yellow radish, red pumpkin, cucumber or avocado), cooked, deep-fried, with chicken, with cream cheese, with surimi, ...

Oooooh, sushi! I love sushi! Haven't had it i years though. Sushi and some good saki. Glad you got out for some!

Love sushi. All possible variants. But raw fish (not white fish) are my favorite, like salmon and herring. Just never eat white fish, like cod, raw. But the Dutch version of salted herring with onions and some soured pickles: delicious!
But, what I loved the most are those small fried fish in Spain, which they call "pescadillos".

Well, I finally crawled out of my crypt, LOL! Not that I was up late last night, just slept really long. Now to head back into Skyrim. Etienne is preparing for the trip back to the mainland from Solstheim - not as simple as "Let's go!" and hopping on the boat, though. Spent at least a day sorting out the things I will leave in Severin Manor and the things I will take. I have a lot of extras that I won't need on the mainland, but which it would be good to have available if and when I were to return to Solstheim - alchemy ingredients, crafting supplies, food items. So am just about ready to go - one more night and then leave in the morning.

I just posted pics in my album of the three main characters in my Etienne stories: Hador (Etienne's sidekick in The Adventures of Etienne series, though I do not use him for standard gameplay), and Jenassa and Chaconne, Etienne's two Captains and constant companions (unless he takes a break and travels with someone new as a change of pace for a little while). Jenassa and Chacone have been my basic companions/followers for nearly 5 years of gameplay now - I can't imagine them not being that.

I was so captivated posting and hearing the music in the
music thread that I forgot to take the laundry out of the washing machine and hanging it out
. Well, I should do this now ...

At least it wasn't food cooking in the oven!

Believe it or believe it not, I rarely burn my food because my nose is a very sensitive detector (has its advantages and disadvantages).
I hung up the clothes to dry. Now it's time to watch a movie.

I plan to write a thread about the topic "Evolution of your art". The purpose of this thread is to show that everyone can improve their artistic skills if they don't give up trying and keep practicing.
My own contribution to this thread will be short. If I cover all my creative phases (from the late 90s until today), the post would become too long. That's why the thread will be accompanied by a more detailed article on "Selene's Shadow Realm". I already digitized a selection of my drawings/paintings today but I need to resize them and make adjustments to their brightness and contrast.
In the meantime, you can dig out your old and newer drawings/paintings to have them ready
.

Already posted some of my pencil drawings, but that didn't work out to well. Still just links instead of images. Thought at first that was due to missing an SSL certificate, but it made no difference.
