Regulars' Table

How was your day? What did you accomplish? What did grind your gears? What is planned next? ...

The regulars' table is a friendly get-together where people can sozialize in an informal way. The concept behind this thread is the modern meaning of the German word "Stammtisch":

Quoting from the Wikipedia article about Stammtisch:
In the city

In urban areas, especially in the late 1990s, different kinds of Stammtisch groups have been established acting like a loose, informal club of people sharing similar interests on a specific topic. They are meant for socialising, exchange of experience and networking (e.g. Stammtisch for parents). Networking organisations such as clubs for marketers or entrepreneurs often call their regular events, which are also open to non members, a Stammtisch.
"Regulars' Table" is the closest expression I could find for this get-together.

The thread can be seen by all users and all users can take part in. What I wrote in the User Guide about openess applies to this thread, too ;):

Today, I underwent professional tooth cleaning. I'm glad that my gum infection went away.

I'm looking forward to my art therapy group which is tomorrow. Because of this I want to start my working day earlier having enough time to go to the group after I have finished my work.

Well, I am a little more than halfway through the revision of my pinned topic Helpful Links and References on the Steam SSE forum. Just three more sections to go to convert into guide form. That will be a big relief - LOL!
And the ongoing work of writing a new story - which looks to be a book, so that will be occupying my time for quite some while.
And, of course, there is the daily task of helping out in the Steam forums - often answering the same question for, literally, the thousandth time!
Not to mention that soon I will be making some minor changes in my SSE build - removing several mods, adding in some more (around 100 or so), and rebuilding some of my merges.
Yeah, nothing ever ends - it just gets extended indefinitely into the future - LOL!

That's what I call dedication - hats off

It's just past 1am and I am enjoying a glass of South-African red wine. Scribbling notes for a new mod, after having asked Steve for his opinion on the idea. His comments were positive, so I started "paper"-designing the mod, waiting for the last test results of the Floating Island mod. I'm not going to disclose too much right now, but it's about a powerfull spell, created long ago by Arch-Mage Shalidor, which can only be casted by the highest ranks of Illusion mages (Master Illusion and Master of the Mind). Don't want it to be a cheat spell.

Started late this morning with a few newspapers (my son is a newspaper deliverer), a smoke, lots of coffee and solved a few sudoku puzzles. Did the dishes from yesterday (dishwasher runs cheaper during the day when the solar panels do their job). made dinner (taco's) and watched some telly (UK detective Lewis). Should have done some other things, but wasn't really in the mood. Ah well, tomorrow is another day!

Tacos! Yum!

And Detective Lewis - an excellent show!

Well, been helping in the forums (both Oldrim and SSE) since February '16 - well over 32,000 posts now, all but 100 or so in the Skyrim forums, and about 85 to 90 percent help posts.

Just had that done recently and speaking of starting your day early tomorrow morning I go in for Radiofrequency ablation on my neck. Basically it's a procedure that uses heat from high-energy electromagnetic waves to destroy nerves that carry pain impulses. Hurts like heck but until the nerve grows back it provides major relief. Makes sitting at the pc modding SSE so much more enjoyable :D

Hi, Vlad! Good to see you here!

If the procedure is anything like this - Run, I tell you! Run! LOL!

And I posted this elsewhere (Elswyr?), but I think it's important that it be shared here, as well.

Good day, all! Today marks the 100th anniversary of the discovery by Howard Carter of the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. In light of the rampant commercialism that today obscures so much of historical fact with what passes for "history" in the name of making money, no matter how the truth may be distorted, I am posting this educational and factual vid so that people will be able to learn the true history of this great archaeological event, unobscured by greed and commercialism:

Hi Vlad! Surely good to see you here. Solving your neck issue, I hope, is not going to hurt too much, but at least give you relief.
