If you have suggestions for the lists of mod hosting sites in the
main thread, please post them here. I will include them in the post with the suitable category (e.g. Bethesda Games) in the main thread. It can take some time until I have everything organized in the main thread (as I'm writing this). I will keep you up to date here in this thread.

Here are a few more mod sites for some my favorite games:
https://unityhq.net/ -- Unity HQ -- One of the last fansites dedicated to No One Lives Forever. Hosts mods/maps for Nolf 1 and 2 and the spin-off Contract JACK. The NOLF games where never a mainstream series, so there aren't a ton of mods and the forums aren't super active, but the guys and gals here are nice folks.
https://www.systemshock.org/ -- systemshock.org -- The hub for System Shock 1 and 2 editing tools and mods. Also hosts the SS2Tool, which is an installer/auto updater for the New Dark patch and Blue mod manager(superceded by Dark mod manager) the two basic req for installing SS2 mods.
https://deadlystream.com/ -- Deadly Stream -- Primarily dedicated to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 they also have a small section for the Jedi Knight series.
https://www.oldunreal.com/ -- Old Unreal -- Dedicated to Unreal 1 and Unreal Tournament 2000. Home of the Unreal 227 fan patch. Also hosts many many editing tools/mods/maps for the old Unreal games, most of which can only be found here.
Edit: Fixed links. I can't use bbcode yet. Oops

I have scrolled through these posts many times, but IMHO there should be an organized page of the mod hosting sites. Add references to hosting sites in this thread and organize those sites in a different thread without responses. Could that be done? I would be willing to create such a page, as I have done as a Steam guide.

I'm thinking of a separate discussions thread ("Mod hosting sites - Discussion thread" or something like that), where I move all posts from the main thread ("Mod hosting sites") there (except the first post) and add the other suggestions to first post of the main thread.
Back-up of a posts written by me that got accidentally deleted while I restructured the thread (
):
Post 1:
Harvald from the German modding site/forum World of Elder Scrolls wrote a very
comprehensive list with sites that offer mods including a lot of modding blogs and Patreons. You can find more links
here and on the second page of the thread in post #23, #24 and #26 (the second paragraph of #26 mentions ModBooru, a site where a great number of outfits for Skyrim and Fallout 4 are linked).
Post 2:
I moved the topic to the new "General Modding Discussion" area which is located above all moddable games areas.
Description of the subforum:
Modding sites, the life as mod users and mod authors

I'm done with messing around in this thread (did some mistakes while moving posts but it looks ok now).

Not really what I've got in mind. Should be more organized and categorized. Let me think about it a little more.

The main thread is a work in progress at the moment; there's always room for improvement
As a side note, suggestions are always welcome but what I make out of it is up to me

I was now horrified to discover that two good sites for Morrowind mods no longer exist. Basically it's just one, but Fliggerty had probably seen his site and Morrowind Mod History as separate. Correct me if I'm wrong.
At Nexus, however, some seem to have found themselves saving what can still be saved.
