Gooooooood Morning Tamriel!
Ah'vrie wishes you well. It is Loredas the 13th of Rain's Hand and wage slaves rejoice the weekend has arrived. The blessed moons have set and it is once again time for Ah'vrie to tend the inn for our most honored guests. Excuse please while the ash pits are emptied and the fires rebuilt. You may wish to cover your tankards for a bit, as this tends to get a tad dusty, and Khajiit do not know from free refills no we do not... There, much better no? Ah'vrie always likes to begin the weekend with happy fires, and a happy fire needs to breathe. They warm more than the room as his mother liked to say. Now to compost the ash, check the garden, scrub the kettles, and put fresh water to the boil. The life of an inn keeper is very glamorous no?
Our brew of the day is Inspirazione a Roma, and the biscuits Zurich. Checking the hot sheets we have 62 new mods with jiggles, dangles, patches patches and more patches. Let's see what does catch the eye over a fresh cuppa. Spoiler alert... not much.
GeorgeMittleton released Oaks of the Reach
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/116576
basically replaced the dead reach trees with small oak trees. Only two pics, and couldn't even be arsed to type a description. No cookies for lazy modders, but thanks
ChrisKley released A Touch of Toussaint in Solitude
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/116569
"This mod adds the creeper flowers found in Toussaint to Solitude." A bit much for an old cat's taste. It would look much better if there was less of it more carefully placed. When did Skyrim move to southern France? Thanks
RogueReverie released Edgewall Manor - Vanilla-esque Player Home
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/116591
"A small manor player home in Solitude along the wall near the Blue Palace."
The old cat is not thrilled with the placement as it cuts across the ramparts, and protrudes from the arch with no support. The old cat doubts there are associated LODs. Your game your way but not for old cats.
And finally Tribevel released two today
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... user+files
Various Bedrolls: "Bedrolls of different materials using Base Object Swapper"
Various Bars and Counters: "Gives some cities and towns custom marble or granite countertops using Base Object Swapper"
Well the bedrolls are actually all the same model just colored differently. The counter tops look much better, but seem really out of place. Though to be fair, the use of green stone in Markarth, blue in Solitude, grey in Windhelm and white in Whiterun is very... fitting?
And that will do for today. The ale is fresh, and the new batch of mead is ready. We're searving mudcrab scrambles for the early meal. Ale braised sabercat with twice baked garlkic potatoes and sauteed leeks for the late meal, and as always there will be a hearty stew simmering all day for those who need something more filling.
The fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept and mopped. Have a seat by the fires and warm your bones. We-B-Open!
