The old cat is having trouble describing this one. It's fairly realistic, but there's something off about the color pallet and the saturation... can't quite put a claw on it. Definitely one of the better new presets. Nights could have been a tad darker for the old cat's taste but it's quite well balanced and definitely worth a look, and a cookie.

Panda needs to patch his tree mods LOL, there's a huge oak growing through a shack roof in one of the pics that brought a chuckle

The video is subtle, but definitely less blue than vanilla. Worth a look, but needs to be seen in game, and your weather mod may already be replacing this texture with something of even higher resolution. You may want to check that first as well.

Some assembly required obviously. This 'framework' allows the book reading animations to be called by other mods when they normally wouldn't be, but it does nothing on it's own. Something to keep in mind. I could see the uses; like Ilja reading his spell learning book while sitting on his blanket selling his wares... But not without patching. Thanks

Wage slaves rejoice the weekend has arrived, the blessed moons are waxing through the first crescents, and most of the hunters are still celebrating... The second is a very interesting learning mechanic and what caught the old cat's eye. It's pretty much a beta test, but in a nut shell, there's a very small chance you will learn a staves enchantment from actually using it. This one gets a cookie.

It's for enhanced rocks and mountains, but the look is really interesting. Makes the mountains look eons younger. Nothing is worn smooth... It's just a very interesting look. The old cat is still not thrilled with the vanilla material blending of ERM, but adding parallax to the mountains does seriously make a difference. Tracking for now.

Our brew of the day is Cadiz espresso, a new offering from the south of Spain. Smooth and mild with a full body. The aroma hints at boxwood, but the flavor has hints of chocolate, and a nice lasting finish... Okay this gets added to the re-order list, although this is a seasonal roast.

Both are worth a look. The sky looks really good, lucky it also comes in half res. The tree textures are a nice match for EVT, and simpley bigger trees (Used in the pics)

Three versions, a replacer, A full BOS variant version, and a variant version without damaged sails. This is an immediate download for the old cat. The last variant replacer duplicated sails with vanilla and looked awful. This looks good enough for an other try, though the old cat might just go with the replacer version.

Ah'vrie wishes you well. It is Loredas the 15 the of Midyear and another sultry predawn here on warm sands. The blessed moons continue to wax through the final crescents and will be full a week from today so it's time to hone those silver weapons once again and keep them close. The goddess' crazy puppies don't always follow the calendar. Anyway, it's time once again for this on to tend the inn. Excuse please while the ash pits are emptied and the fires are rebuilt. This gets a tad dusty so you may wish to cover your tankards for a bit... There, much better no? Ah'vrie likes to greet the weekend with happy fires. As his mother liked to say when he was but a cub, "A happy fire warms more than the room". Now to compost the ash, see what's ready to harvest in the garden, scrub the kettles, and put fresh water to the boil... The glamorous life of an inn keeper.

Our brew of the day is Istanbul espresso, and the biscuits are the old cat's version of a snickerdoodle made with oat flour. Fingers crossed on this new recipe. Baking is going to become more interesting for certain. Checking the hot sheets we have 40 new mods with the plenty of jiggles, dangles and pointy sticks. Let's see what catches the eye of an old cat today over a fresh cuppa...

And finally Riton Mossy Bridge

An interesting choice. The standard vanilla field stone bridge, but desaturated and mossy. One or two of the seams are noticeable, but the overall look is rather nice. The mesh is parallax enables and works well with SMIM and blended roads. Nicely done, and cookie worthy. The old cat would use this as a BOS variant, but maybe not as a replacer.

And that will do for today. The ale casks were delivered on time, and the new batch of mead is ready. We're serving medallions of marinated venison on a bed of roast diced potatoes and onions served with an egg on top for the early meal, and ale braised sabercat with twice baked garlic potatoes for the late meal. As always we'll have a hearty stew simmering for those that need something that wards the chill a bit more.
