[suspended] Posting restrictions in the Neurodiversity forum

Post by Selene310187 »

Updated rules: 11 Dec, 2022

Changes to visibility of the specific neurodivergent sections

From now on, all neurodiversity discussions including the specific neurodiversity discussion can be seen by guests as well. But don't worry, if your post contains sensitive information which you don't want to visible to the general public, you can now hide that part in your text with the "hide" BBCode created by Alfredo Ramos.

Quoting from the description of the author's website:
Allows you to write

Code: Select all

[hide]text[/hide]
or

Code: Select all

[hide inline=1]text[/hide]
and it will hide the content to guests.
The quote without using code tags:
Allows you to write
Exclusive content for logged in users.
or
Exclusive content for logged in users.
and it will hide the content to guests.

Alternatively, you can mark the text and click on the button with the lock symbol in the posting buttons bar in the posting editor.

Posting restrictions to add an additional layer of security

Only members of the Neurodivergent users group are allowed to comment and start new topics in the specific neurodiversity discussion areas.

You can join the Neurodivergent users group by request:
Go to your User Control Panel, click on the Usergroups tab and activate the radio button in the "Non-Memberships" area next to the "Neurodivergent users" group. Make sure that you have selected "Join selected" next to "Select:" and click on the "Submit" button. The group leaders will be notified and can approve your group membership.

discarded rules
The "Neurodiversity - General Discussion" section and its subforum "Mental Health" are visible to a all users including guests. All registered users can comment and start new topics in these areas.

The specific neurodivergent sections can only be seen by registered users. Only members of the Neurodivergent users group are allowed to comment and start new topics in these areas.

I updated the rules regarding the visibility of the specific neurodivergent sections. They are now visibile to guests as well BUT sensitive information can be hidden to guests using the "hide" BBCode (see the first post for more information).
