Gooooooooood Morning Tamriel!
Ah'vrie wishes you well. It is Loredas the 25th of Rain's Hand, and wage slaves rejoice, the weekend has arrived. It looks to be a beautiful dawn here on warm sands. The blessed moons have long set, and it is once again time for this one to tend the inn for our most honored guests. Excuse please while the ash pits are emptied, the vent's are cleaned, and the fires rebuilt. You might want to cover your tankards, this can get a tad dusty...
There, much better no? Ah'vrie always likes to start the weekend off with happy fires. They warm more then the room as his mother liked to say. Now to compost the ash, tend the garden, and scrub the kettles, but first we put fresh water to the flame.
Our brew of the day is Capetown Lungo, and the biscuits are chocolate chip. Checking the hot sheets we have 47 new mods In the usual mix of jangles, patches and pointy sticks. Let's see what catches and old cat's eye over a fresh cuppa or two.
First a shout-out. We see these all the time, and they're usually preeetty bad. But these were beautifully captured in game. This one has an eye. Shame about the name LOL

ICFur's Tundra Shrubs ... A gentle poke

"Mesh and texture replacement for tundra shrubs."
Ah'vrie loves a good re-texture... It hurts to say vanilla looks better, but vanilla looks better.
BastosFC released Nordic Ruins Overhaul - FOMOD
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/178308
"Vanilla friendly overhaul of every Nordic Ruins and Dwellings exterior (40 locations). Now fully ESL, with a modular FOMOD."
Poor title, but 'added exterior rubble' isn't quite as sexy. Not for old cat's, but thanks
apocalyptech released Unlimited Bookshelves Compat - Fix Book Bounds (Skypatcher)
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/178309
"Fixes the Object Bounds on various books so that they play nicely with Unlimited Bookshelves. Of interest to folks also using Book Covers Skyrim and its USSEP Patch"
There's a blast from the past. This one hasn't used unlimited bookshelves since oldrim, but since it also fixes book covers of Skyrim/USSEP, it could be useful to many of us.
Lets see... MANHUNTER69 patched riverbord's wheat replacer with wind animations

Very reminiscent of the temple windows in Oblivion. Downloaded. Nicely done
Mjoll The Lioness DF Edit SkyPatched

Not bad, not thrilled. This ones faces are becoming a bit cookie cutter. Thanks
Jordis of Solitude - SerketHetyt's Housecarls
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/175412
"A realistic lore-friendly overhaul for Jordis, our dear housecarl of Haafingar Hold"
Her third housecarl, and this one looks every bit the self-assured fighter, but maybe a little sad. Definitely worth a look, and a cookie.
And finally, This one's not for old cat's either, but it's definitely the mod of the day.
WeatherPainterAshelia released Picta - Weathers of Aurbis - Repainted
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/178136
"One of the most comprehensive and advanced Weather Overhauls and ENB Preset to date utilizing everything ENBSeries, Silent Horizon 2 - Shader Core and my own work of 6+ years has to offer. Reworked from scratch with a more focused Development."
Somber, moody, dramatic... beautiful. Ah'vrie would love to test this in game, but the requirements are unfortunate. All that Kitsuune baggage, and LUX? No thankyou. But it is not this one's game, and this preset and the weathers are gorgeous. Have a cookie
And that will do for today. The new casks of ale were delivered overnight, and a fresh batch of mead is ready. We're serving pan seared slaughterfish with roast diced potatoes sauteed with onions and serves with a poached egg on top for the early meal. They go for the tail and fall for the mace every time. We'll be serving Ale braised Sabrecat with twice baked garlic potatoes and sauteed carrots for the late meal. And as always there will be a kettle of hearty stew simmering all day for those that need to ward the chill.
The fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept and mopped. Have a seat and the wenches will be happy to serve you. We-B-Open!
