Gooooooooood Morning Tamriel!
Ah'vrie wishes you well. It is Middas the 10th of Hearthfires, and a quiet predawn here on warm sands. The blessed moons have set, the paths are closed, and it is time for this one to tend the inn for our most honored guests. Excuse please while the fires are stoked, and fresh water is put to the flame...
Our brew of the day is Miami espresso, and the biscuits are Ginger. Checking the hot sheets we have 40 new mods from the usual eclectic sources. Lets see what catches the eye of an even older cat over a fresh cuppa or three.
Jaashi released Smaller (Bigger) Mace of Molag Bal as a first mod. Welcome
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/158812
"This is a remesh of the Mace to make it smaller than the vanilla version but slightly bigger than Billyro's version. Hence, the confusing name of the mod."
That is a confusing title. This is smaller than vanilla, but not quite as small billyro. Thanks
Lets have a peek under the hood
illuminoous released Simple Sequential Mod Installer (MO2 Plugin)
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/158838
"Basically instead of clicking on all your downloaded archives one by one to start the installation processes, you can open the plugin and select (all) the mods you want to install. It will sequentially give you regular installation popups one after another until you've installed all the selected mods." Interesting mod if used with caution in a new build. For incremental installs, this could simplify things quite a bit. Thanks
RavenKZP released In-Game Patcher - SKSE plugin
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/158681
"Create BOS and KID patches directly in-game, at runtime — no CK, no xEdit, no ESPs. Fix floating objects, remove clutter, adjust idle markers, or add keywords, all with a simple menu system."
Now this is interesting, Make sure to read the requirements and definitely needs testing. The creates its patches in real time that run at game load with no vanilla edits... This one gets a cookie if it works as described. tracking for now. Thanks!
Lets see... Mazze45 released New Door - College of Winterhold - Hall of the Elements
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/158850
What is says in the title. These are really nice looking, but the old cat will wait on the all in one. Releasing them one at a time is understandable, but there are a lot of doors in the college

Thanks, beautiful work. Have a cookie
Kanjs - Stalhrim Armors Animated
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/158816
"I fixed the meshes and retextured Stalhrim Armors up to 4K, emissive animation, and some particle effects!"
The armor retex looks good, The old cat is not thrilled with the shield emissions, but that's Kanjs forte, and it's not the old cat's game. So have a cookie.
draqqable Kids in Nirn Refined - KiN
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/139754
"After 9 months of hard work, Karura and I present our take on the potato-heads:"
The pictures tell the tale. Some of these changes look great, some not so much. Taste is subjective, and we love choice. The body's seem a bit malnourished, some of the outfits are really nice. Have a cookie.
And we'll finish up with Falmer Are People Too by PixieBomb
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/158852
"The Falmer were once a proud race of Elves like any other, but even in their current state they craft architecture, weapons, & armor, they domesticate & farm chaurus, they form & maintain tribal societies. They're a sentient & sapient race, & thus shouldn't fill the same soul gems as the bugs they farm. Falmer are people, too!"
As we expected after Gnewna's comment on yesterdays release. The old cat totally supports the thinking here. These will definitely be going in the old cat's build, but as this one mentioned yesterday, now we need locations added to convert grand soul gems to black based on the lore defined in Oblivion. This one gets a cookie.
And that will do for today, the fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept. Have a seat and the wenches will serve you. We-B-Open!
