Gooooood Morning Tamriel!
Ah'vrie wishes you well, It is Fredas the 8th of Second Seed and divines be praised the weekend is nigh. It's a quiet morning on warm sands. Excuse please while the fires are stoked, and fresh water is put to the flames...
Our brew of the day is Istanbul espresso, and the biscuits are Ginger. Checking the hot sheets we have 44 new mods in the usual eclectic mix. Lets see what catches an old cat's eye over a fresh cuppa or two.
LalanyaTheSorceress released her first two mods today. Welcome

GungnirIo released Abandoned Mine - A player home in the wilderness
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/179450
"This is a mod I've made to practice with Creation Kit. It's not perfect, but I'm proud of it. Please feel free to politely critique."
That's the attitude of a proper modder. Have a cookie.
littlefot released simple red light marker
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/179478
"This is a light marker I created for personally converting Lanterns Of Skyrim II into an ISL-based lighting setup. I created it to check the position and presence of placed bulbs in distant areas or snowy fields at night."
This could be a very useful author's tool for troubleshooting any mod's lighting. Thanks.
dickman290 released Dragons Use Thu'um - Vanilla Shout Only
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/179472
"A lightweight settings patch for **Dragons Use Thu'um** that disables the mod-added custom dragon shouts and keeps the experience closer to vanilla Skyrim."
Ah'vrie generally doesn't cover patches, but he uses Dragon's Use Thuum, and agree with the author that a lot of the mod added shouts make no sense. Downloaded
iDeadSea released Meadows of Lorwyn - Only tundra grass
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/179447
"This mod will allow you to use tundra grass from Meadows of Lorwyn with your desired grass mods (Freak, Veydosebrom, Skoglendi etc). I often change my tundra grass, so you can do this aswell."
Hopefully with permission. Transform the tundra into an endless meadow. Perfect for your my little pony unicorns LOL, It is pretty. Your game your way
Maevan2's Eye Brows PLUS PLUS by naChooey
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/179423
"Standalone modified version of Maevan2's Eye Brows with brow lightness variations. Vanilla replacer options included. Patches for HPH, COTR, and UBE included."
Nicely done... We love choice. Have a cookie
Julio005 released Tamriel Waterways Forest Critter Ambience
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/179480
"This mod adds new forest critter sound effects to waterways across Tamriel. Frogs, crickets, birds, and small wildlife now call from shorelines, reeds, and shaded pools. Every sound marker was placed by hand so the audio matches the landscape. Built specifically to complement Clofas "Wildwood Echoes". Load them together and the forests and waters sing as one: Wildwood Echoes handles the deep woods, Tamriel Waterways covers the banks and streams."
Obviously a labor of love, This adds more critter sounds to the ponds and streams. The old cat downloaded this and Wildwood echos for testing. This one has not been very happy with his current audio. Hopefully this adds to the Zen while fishing. Have a cookie
fadingsignal followed up on Blackreach grass with new volumetric fogs and mists
The Mists of Blackreach - New Mist and Fog VFX
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/179487
"Replaces the large, fast-moving, "steamy" VFX meshes throughout Blackreach with new, high-quality, particle-based, volumetric fog VFX meshes. Instead of the low-quality UV scrolling plane vanilla VFX, these are thick, realistic, slow-moving, and very atmospheric."
Needs to be seen in game, Looks very thick to old cat eyes, but we know Fading, and if he says "They are designed to fade as the player approaches them, so will not obstruct your immediate view" You can bet they do. Downloaded for testing. Have another cookie
We'll finish up talking about the weather...
Dolomite Weathers - Natural Lighting Vivid Atmospherics II CS by Vanders86
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecial ... ods/179468
"Dolomite Weathers now modified to support HDR. Please be aware that I'm not an expert and cannot provide support." There's a lot to be said for honest, have a cookie
HDR being native to SSE is new, we may see more of these conversions and welcome them. Obviously this is only useful if you use Dolomite, and CS, and want to enable HDR.
And that will do for today. The fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept. Have a seat by the fires and warm your bones. We-B-Open!
