Apprentice and adept versions basic aimed spells, and yet another transmute all ingots mod for the pile. The old cat won't poke too hard. He likes the idea of the advanced aimed spells, but isn't that also the reason for the fire, ice, and shock buffs to the perk tree, and these will also stack with them... Balance is tough to learn when modding, and this one is young. Thanks, keep working at your craft...

You'll want to read the whole mod page. This is a bit focused on seriously buffing Battleaxes to distinguish them from war axes. But the underlying fact that 'bleed damage' in the vanilla game is a joke? The old cat can't argue. Thanks

Worth a look, The old cat see's this as possibly the beginning of a landscape overhaul. The textures are a little darker and redder than vanilla, so blending and color pallets come into play. Hopefully they keep at it. Thanks

This one gets a cookie, flagged for a future play though

Well, to be honest, the water mod reminds the old cat why he doesn't use vanilla water. And the grasses look good, but a little over saturated, and a bit too many 'red' plants. Strange pallet, looks rusty. Still we love choice, and this is definitely better than vanilla. So thanks.

Poptart likes her pubs a little messy... Old cat's as well. It's nice that the subtle changes in clutter are linked to the 'growing influence' quests, so not only do the alcoves get new merchants, but the lighting is better, the shelves get stocked, the trash is picked up. This generally adds to the feeling of the TG coming back. Nicely done. We like subtle over time. This one gets a cookie.

And finally an unexpected choice for the old cat...

Okay, the old cat fesses up to being cynical. At first glance This almost got tossed aside as more 'crap for one handed gamers' but that's not the case with this one. It was written by a biologist who makes the case that subjugated and blind would/could not lead to the almost evolutionary changes to the race in such a short time period.

This mod leaves the flamer intact, but makes them look more like former snow elf slaves, not an entirely different species. Unexpectedly, the old cat agrees. This is a first mod, so needs testing goes without saying. This uses BOS to swap 'off' models of candles and braziers to 'vanilla?' dungeons. The old cat has played with blackout mods in the past that was script based and had serious performance issues. That was long before BOS. The old cat might just have to look at MLO again. Thanks

The old cat has to agree the vanilla 'black fog' effect was lame and distracting. The idea of adding the poison weapon shader directly to the armor is actually quite eloquent. The old cat wishes there were a couple of better pics, but this one gets a cookie.

The old cat almost blew this off as just another cheat, but honestly if you're doing a true thief build / playthrough, having a shrine to Nocturnal where you can buy fairly well balanced skill buffs for treasure just makes sense. The perks are actually well thought out. The old cat is hesitant calling this a 'mod of the day', But it's a nice note to end on. Thanks, I'll sell you a cookie.
