I'm glad that you still find time for the bands, the choir, and your mods alongside your work. If I would work 8 hours a day, I wouldn't have any energy left to work on my mods. But I have accepted that I can only work part-time. I can work overtime for short periods though, but working longer hours permanently will make me ill in the long run. I think this is related to my
masking.

In the past, my sleep suffered greatly because I often worked on my mods until 3 or 4 in the morning. Then my neighbor robbed me of my sleep with noise pollution, causing me to develop insomnia. Over the last few months, the situation has improved: my neighbor has become quieter and I have my insomnia largely under control with the help of medication. As for working on my mods, I now make sure that I stop in time to get enough sleep. Of course, I don't always succeed. I then try to go to bed by 2 a.m. at the latest. Because I know how exhausted I will feel if I only get a few hours of sleep.
It was now the second Saturday that my mother had visited me to help me pack the moving boxes. Without her, I would really be lost because I lack experience. We got a lot done today, but we still have a lot ahead of us. Next week, I'll be clearing out more things like dictionaries (I can't even remember the last time I looked something up in one, since I only use the internet for that now), shoes, and electronic waste.
