And I'm back. A little sore and worse for wear, but still kicking. This is the first time I've felt truly awake in months. I'm not going to sugar coat this and play it down. I had no detectable pulse in my neck, and it came out of no where. I get updated ultrasounds every 6 months, and the carotid was clear 4 months ago. Even my cardiologist was scratching his head on this one.

It's not over, apparently I did have a mini stroke, and I'm scheduled for a full contrast brain scan tomorrow morning. I guess the big guy upstairs thought it was time I was reminded of my own mortality. But the old cat still has a few more lives left... I hope LOL
