Today I have started writing a guide for LOD generation, specifically tailored for use with Wrye Bash as a mod manager, with the consent of Mephitic. Since my experience with LOD generation with DynDOLOD is not that great, I'm glad Mephitic is keeping an eye on it.

In the mean time I'm also helping a French lady in distress with all kinds of quest and scene issues. Quite time consuming, but at least there was always something new to learn for me.

Of course I have also done some writing on "The Tales of Ysmir Sky-Born", for various chapters for the games Battlespire, Arena and Skyrim. I really should finish Battlespire first, but I sometimes get a bit bored writing and skip to another game.

A bit of fresh air did me good. Also went to the butcher, the greengrocer and the bakery. Far much better than the groceries from the supermarket.

On today's menu: chicory with ham and cheese (incl. Roquefort) from the oven.
What you really need to write is a book of all your recipes! Makes my mouth water just reading about it!

And I am glad that you are feeling a bit better as well!

Thanks, Steve!

I already have a book with recipes, but for the most it's written on paper! Actually I was preparing the recipe book for my two daughters. However, my oldest daughter got married two years ago and my youngest daughter is on a long trip through Europe with her boyfriend since 11 days ago (they are probably in Spain now). I'm still writing the recipe book, but not anymore as often as I did, since the Friday night cooking courses with my daughters got to a stop. But, to do you a favor my recipe for the cichory dish (2 persons):

5 pieces of chicory
abt. 150 grs of grilled ham
abt. 150 grs of grated old cheese
abt. 75 grs of blue cheese (to taste)
season with salt, pepper and nutmeg

Remove the hearts of the chicory if you don't like the taste. Divide each chicory in four parts and slice into parts of abt. 2cm. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in butter until the water has evaporated and the chicory has a little browning. Put half in an oven dish, cover with half of the ham, grated cheese and blue cheese. Cover with the other half of the chicory, cover with the rest of the ham and grated cheese. Finish in the oven at 180C until the top cheese layer is still soft. Serve with a well seasoned mashed potatoes, or a mash from potatoes, parsnip, carrots, pumpkin, or whatever other vegetable you may prefer.

I may add a recipe for pasta with salmon and samphire, if desired. That also was not in the courses with my daughters. Maybe even my personal recipe for hamburgers. That last one may be quite a surprise for some hamburger lovers!!

Maybe this is OT here:
What happened to the Advent calendar at Schare (The Elder Scrolls Portal)? Is it cancelled?
After all, most of my mods come from work for this calendar
Spoiler
Was ist aus dem Adventkalender bei Schare (Elder Scrolls Portal) geworden? Fällt der aus?
Immerhin stammt der größte Teil meiner Mods aus Arbeiten für diesen Kalender

It seems that the last mod Advent calendar of elderscrollsportal.de was in 2019. In 2020, it got cancelled because too few mods were submitted to fill all of the doors. The forum search didn't deliver more recent entries regarding the Advent calender.
Spoiler

Installed phpBB on my XAMPP server and been playing around a bit, especially configuration. Could be a nice way to test the stories to come. Next thing to figure out is how to add the BBCode. Alone with Christmas, so all the time in the world.

By the way, I wish you all a Merry Christman and a healthy and properous 2023. Also, of course, happy modding!

I did a lot of fooling around in my XAMPP install of phpBB. I managed to create some custom BBCode (still have to test those). But I couldn't manage to install my preferred style.

Ah, well, tomorrow is another day!
