I'm doing art as a hobby, be it writing (mainly in a blog or forum), making mods or drawing/painting. I share it online and I worry about how well it is received because I indeed tend to over-analyze things (and often my
inner critic has a finger in the pie) and put too much emphasis on the stats (views, likes,
endorsements, etc.). In moments of doubt, I try to tell myself that art is subjective - we have different opinions about what works are art in our eyes. Despite this underlying anxiety, I keep doing creating art because I love creating stuff with my own hands. I'm not a pro but when I look back, I see that I improved my skills over time.
