The moons will be gibbous on Loredas and full on Sundas so the goddess' crazy puppies will be causing mischief all weekend. The blessed moons are gibbous tonight and full tomorrow so keep those silver weapons close at hand. It is time once again for Ah'vrie to tend the inn for his most honored guests. Excuse please while the ash pits are emptied and the fires rebuilt. Ah'vrie always likes to start the weekend with happy fires. They warm more than the room as his mother liked to say. You may want to cover your tankards for a bit, this can get a tad dusty... There, much better no? Now to compost the ash, tend the garden, scrub the kettles, and put fresh water to the boil...
Our brew of the day is a new offering. A blended roast called Infinitely Espresso. The aroma has subtle chocolate notes, but the flavor is a little more woody than chocolate. Nice creama, and a long 'slightly dry' finish. All in all a nice blended roast. It reminds the old cat of the India roast a little. Not sure this one would have it as an everyday cuppa, but a nice addition for variety. We'll be baking fresh biscuits after the markets open, but for now there are plenty of Bordeaux. It pairs well with this roast.
Checking the hot sheets we have 50 new mods. Let's see what catches the old cat's eye over a fresh cuppa or two.

Sheeeee's Back! This has a tiny 1x1 footprint, and packs a lot into that tiny space. Named, and un-named safe storage, all the vanilla crafting, and clutter as only our Elie could pull it off. Love her or hate her the woman has style.
The old cat is partial to these little player homes. and this one is all Elie. Not intended for any followers, spouces, or kids. This makes for a perfect starter home. Though the old cat can't honestly think of a reason to want to start near Windhelm. This gets two cookies.
And that will do for today. The new casks of ale were delivered on time last night, and a fresh batch of mead is ready to serve so Ah'vrie hopes you're thirsty. We'll be serving medallions of marinated venison served on a bed of roast diced potatoes, and caramelized onions, and topped with a poached egg for the early meal. Wyvern and chips for midday, and ale braised sabrecat, with twice baked garlic potatoes and sauteed carrots for the late meal. As always we'll have a hearty stew simmering all day for those that need to chase off the chill. The fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept and mopped. Have a seat by the fires and warm your bones. We-B-Open!

The old cat loves the concept, but in execution he's not thrilled with the placement of some of the 'not so' secret entrances. Bottles Mossy Farmhouse Walls 4K

The textures are over sharpened to the point of being grainy, The moss looks more like dirt, and the parallax tessellation is noticeably stretched. A good first effort but not for old cats. "New stonewall terraces that replace the vanilla models with earth retaining walls comprised of individual chiseled stones." Now this is an interesting replacer. The walls are intricate and the meshes are really well done. Well it is Mindflux after all. The only questionable point are the stonework uses Mayan style fitted stone with no mortar. It actually looks a little too good in comparison to the farmhouse and common wall textures. Personally the old cat loves it, but we'll need similar quality farmhouse and wall textures for it to fit seamlessly into the game. 2 cookies and fingers crossed this is the first of several associated mods. (Which I requested)

The blessed moons are waning through the first quarter, and it is a quiet predawn here on warm sands. It is of course time once again for Ah'vrie to tend the inn for our most honored guests. Excuse please while the ash pits are emptied and the fires are rebuilt. You may want to cover your tankards, this tends to get a might dusty... There, much better no? Ah'vrie always likes to start the weekend with happy fires, and a happy fire needs to breathe. Now to compost the ash, tend the garden, scrub the kettles, and put fresh water to the boil. Stop staring at the kettle smooth skin, did your mother teach you nothing of kitchen magic? Ah'vrie needs his coffee yes he does.
Our brew of the day is Inspirazione Italiano Roma. It's been reformulated and unfortunately it's now a bit too mild for a lungo, but makes a very respectable Ristretto. Sticking with the Roma theme for Easter, today's biscuits are chocolate biscotti. Checking the hot sheets we have 64 new with all the usual jiggles, dangles, patches goofs, and pointy sticks. Several caught the old cat's eye, but nothing special stands out.

While HyliosSykes' tastes don't always mesh with the old cat, we love choice and the last few overhauls have been very unique. You'll either want to use them as is, or don't install them... it would be a patching nightmare at best. Seriously worth a look and a cookie. It's a different inn.
