Can you suggest a movie for me, please?

It gets harder and harder to find interesting movies. I've seen a lot.

My genres:
sci-fi, fantasy, action (and if the movie contains funny elements on top, even better), post-apocalyptic (like "The Road", "Finch" or "Love and Monsters" or "The Book of Eli"), mind-bending (e.g. in the style of David Lynch or "Inception"), dystopian (like "Matrix", the two Blade Runner movies or "Divergent"), cyberpunk, mystery, adventure (like "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "John Carter"), body horror (like "The Fly" or "Videodrome"), thriller (psychological, supernatural or techno-thriller).

The movie can be a live action one, a computer animated one or an anime. Black and white films are not my favorite ones but there are exceptions like "Sin City".

It's possible that I already watched your suggestion but this doesn't matter. Then I have a reason to rewatch the film as I tend to forget most of a flick in the course of time (there are some movies that I never forget like "Lord of the Rings", "Matrix" or all "Harry Potter" movies).

You sound li9ke me, I am always on the lookout for movies to watch - but I've seen so many that new ones are really hard to come by, and I end up watching nothing at all! One movie I watched recently which was really pretty good was "I Am Dragon" - a fantasy film. I'm sure I can come up with a lot more if I put my mind into "search brain index" mode!

I could have added Pathfinder, a movie about the Vikings discovering North America. They took out many native Americans, but were defeated in the end. I like the movie as fantasy, but ... with a change of decisions it could have made it more or less historical.

But, at least you have some new movies/series to look out for.

Albert got you pretty much covered - a lot are movies I have watched and enjoyed, as well. If you like pure Sci-Fi, there is one movie well worth checking out that was not mentioned - Interstellar.
